You better check out if it supports the "H" frame. It is not the same as the "X" I found that out the hard way.

I think I've decided against the H frame because It's quite a bit heavier than the DJI hex frame with 2 less motors. I'm sure the flight control systems support that. Thanks for the response.

Yes it would. I've used it on my large hex. You have to navigate to those screen though, meaning you have to take your eyes off the craft -- not a convenient thing to do when flying with goggles. On a camera platform when you're in a stable hovering mode, it's okay.

They offer it at Aloft for less, but currently out of stock. They also have other versions:

Radio Systems / telemetry question
« Last post by highflyer on September 16, 2018, 07:51:20 PM »
I asked a question a while back about this FrSky Variometer Sensor w/Smart Port (High Precision Version) if it would show data on my FPV goggles and was told it wouldn't. I was wondering if the data would show up on the telemetry screen on my Taranis Tx? using the X8R Rx.

Thank Sobo, after looking a little closer I realized this was one of the batteries that came with my QX95 so it probably is cheap. It did get pretty hot too, about 110 degrees after the last flight so instead of taking a chance I'm just going to get rid of it.

Most likely the battery itself is the issue.

I have a lot of micro batteries like the ones you show from several different suppliers and about a quarter of them are a little bloated as well.
They still work fine and do not heat up or anything, I think it's just a cheap quality and they don't hold their shape like others.

Keep an eye on them and if your worried they are going to overheat / burn out, just dispose of them and get some new ones.

Nice setup Jeff, I'm looking at using Ardupilot, Pixhawk something like that. I have a post under Aerial  photography and any help or advice would be appreciated. This may wait until later on in the winter since if I start now I'll be getting done in the winter and won't get to fly it till spring and there is something else I want to get into this winter.

Hi Bigal

yeah, it's a 550 with Naza lite I never had any problems with it. The only problem I had was when I switched to Win10 the Naza programming didn't work so I went back to Win7. The camera I'm using is the Mobius and have that on the Mobius 2 axis gimbal. The FPV I have isn't installed yet it's the quanum with the fat shark antennas.
