The more I looked into it I found that there were more bad reviews on it than good. I decided to save my money.

does anyone use one of these or know anything about it? I'm thinking about getting one. I've watched videos of it on YT it looks ok. I just wondering if any of you guys have one and if it's worth spending 70 bucks on it

I don't have one, but have wondered how fast & high I have gotten in the past, but not sure it is worth it....  I guess it would really come down to how much you are flying and what type of flying you are doing.... If you are not going fast and just putt-putting around then half of it is not worth it, and unless you are always going as high as you can see LOS then the other half is not worth it....  I would like to rent one just to get an idea of top speed and how high I can see LOS, but then I think it might just get a little redundant for the most part....

So, IMHO, I would like to see how fast and high I can go, but then I will know and it's really not needed anymore cause the info is not going to change much after that, unless you are always building new stuff and wanting to test them out....

So my answer is Yes and No....  Hey, don't judge me, you asked...... :b0209: :face-slap: :b0201: :b0201: :b0201: :showing-ass:

Yjr yhing I like about this one is that it is portable :t2030:

There are obviously other ways to get this info with the various flight controllers and telemetry receivers but they are usually hard wired into the components, so this looks like a great alternative.

It would work great on you new plane  :coolguy:

Here is a view of Hextor dropping the line from the other end. This was done last week end and that pull was 3,500'.
(They have Tim Kline as the pilot and builder of Hextor, but Mark will change that to Tim Kline pilot and Mark Deutschman builder)
