Antenna replacement question
« on: July 11, 2017, 03:56:42 PM »
has anyone had to replace the antenna on the Taranis? I'm going to switch everything to a new case. I would like to know if before I start to switch things over if the antenna is soldered on? and if so is it a pain in the  :showing-ass: to resolder it back on? I'm pretty good at soldering but NOT a pro at it. also since I'll have it apart would it be a good idea to upgrade the antenna to 5dbi long range ant? or just leave it as is?

Thanks Jeff  :coolguy:

Never opened the case on mine, so unfortunately I don't know.

I had to replace the ant on my DX7 and ir was nor soldered, so my guess would be no on the T. More likely it will be like the ant on the their RXs,
