I'm with Tom on this as well. From that time period (guessing 2014-15?). Alexmoss, then Basecam and then the Simple GUI. I haven't messed with gimbals for some time now but have a few older ones in my box. I'll have a look at them in a bit and see what I can pull up.

As I recall finding the exact placement of the sensor was critical in getting a steady platform. But I'm sure you already know that by now. I love trying to bring stuff back to life, but technology sometimes won't allow it.

Oh, almost forgot  :m1277: to the forum, hope we can help you out.
Thanks, boykintom

I will keep researching.

Thanks for the reply

Welcome to the Forum!  I have done some work with an Alexmos knockoff 2 axis gimbal, and used the Simple BGC GUI for that one, and it worked after a lot of trial and error.  Unfortunately, your board does not look like mine, and I am not familiar with it, but you may want to investigate the Simple BGC or something similar.
Hi Guys,

New to the forum and new to Multicopters.

I was given an older Steadidrone Qu4d that would not run with a box full of parts.

After 2 days of intense googling and YouTube searching, I got it to run and fly.(Third flight got ugly after it bounced off the roof of my house and landed on the concrete  :b0708:)

The problem I have is the gimbal it came with keeps on throwing a fit halfway through a flight(even before landing on the concrete) and bouncing off its limits making footage impossible to watch.

I was hoping to recalibrate the gimbal with a fresh install of software or even finding some schematics for the board.

The control board has no manufacturers name or model number stamped on either side.

Here is the link to the photos of the board and gimbal.

Yes, my main power and earth wires came off when I removed the hot glue to get a good look at the board. Some soldering needed.....

Can any tech guru's here tell me what board this is and if there is a site that supports the firmware and GUI.

I tried multiple versions of Basecam electronics firmware and GUI platforms but it will not communicate.

Keep up the good work

Any info much appreciated.
