Taranis/X8r servo help.
« on: March 18, 2017, 06:49:37 PM »
For all you Taranis experts.......   I have a hexacopter using the TopXGun FC conected from the X8r via SBUS. Everything is functioning normal and all the flight modes are working with the assigned switch.
I need to run a servo for the payload release off of another switch, but am having difficulties doing this. Not sure where I even plug the servo lead into. I tried looking into the internet for answers with no luck.
If anyone can help me on this or any suggestions please help.

Hmmmm. Obvious point: you need to plug in a servo somewhere or it ain't movin.'
After you do that, you should be able to assign a simple curve to that servo with a switch position from 0 (off) to 100 (on).

But first you need to plug it in somewhere. Not sure how that works with SBus. I'll keep looking though.
This vid may help:

Can I run a second RX? Will the TX bind to both of them?
Or will this work?

If you're running an X8R or whatever the latest version FrSky RX is, you can run another X8R for up to 32 channels. That oughtta give you enough  :winky:
