Looks like a fun build .
Should not be too hard to get all the channels working . A build thread with details on how you get everything  going  would be great  :t2030:

That is ingenious my friend....  :t2946:

Now, I will be even more impressed if you can do that in flight..  :b0209: :b0201: :b0201: :b0201:      :b0206:

That is way too cool Gary!!
I really want to see that fly. It would confuse me to have all those flaps to think about.

Nice work on the locking mechanism.

lol,

i'm binding the RX in Hold last position mode, so if a brown out, signal loss or something else happen up in the air it does NOT fold the wings  dancing dancing
that was one of my fears also!  :0042v1:

Nice work on the locking mechanism.

i start it easy on the maiden, normal flight with "MAYBE! testing normal flaps 3 mistakes high to see how it acts.
i've put the flaps on the 3 pos switch where i also have the gear, so on pos 0 gear up, pos 2 gear down pos 3 gear down flaps down.

for the flaperons i set the AIL switch, might test it when i got used to the plane and when it is trimmed. full span flaps can be dangerous resulting in a stall, so i will test it careful and with respect!
when everything work as supposed i might put the flaperons also on the gear switch so when in pos 3 both flaps and flaperons go down.

i will also program a inward rudder setup, the real f-18 uses it on take off/ landing, but as already said... will test it after some flights.
