That is one big bird, is that going to be the biggest to date???

Looking forward to the build and of course the maiden on day... How long do you think it will take to build that beast???

Pfftttttt, most of us wouldn't be flying in those conditions Gary.  :face-slap: :b0209: :b0201: :b0201: :b0201:

Nice Maiden except for the wind and landing.  Glad you got it repaired already.  Good luck on your next flight.  :t2030: :t2030:

Glad it wasn't any worse than it could have been . The flight looked pretty smooth until you had to slow down for a landing.

Cant wait to see the next vid .....

i have to say i was Abit shocked when i came in for landing...

i have not had this yet, as soon i reduced the throttle the plane instandly dropped like a Stone!
my guess is it was not only crosswind, it was downwind from behind, because from this side, there is a slope and gliders usually cruise there to get up.
after i passed this Point the flightpath was down ^^

next flight not with crosswind and not that strong  :b0708:

Also keep in mind that some planes require more power to land , especially jets . That is the one lesson I learned when I used to fly nitro ducted fans back in the day. Some you almost have to keep a lot of power on till you touch down , that was the case when I had my Byron f-16 but not so much with the F-15 .
