The A10 is an awesome machine. Near where I live is the Selfridge Air National Guard Base. There is a squadron of A10s that fly out of there every Wednesday and Thursday. Every now and then they come directly over my house and rattle the windows well below the 400 foot mark.

I do not fly on those days  :t1815:

Can't wait to see it in action. Thanks for sharing Gary.  :t2030:

Hey Randy, been AWOL for a bit but I'm back. I know what you mean about those A10s buzzing by, They used to fly out of Hagerstown MD., in fact I believe they were built there, anyway when I lived in the boondocks here in Delaware they used to fly by at low altitude, usually 3 or 4 of them I guess heading out over the Atlantic to play and it was very cool, we called it the "oil burner route" cause of the smoke from the engines. I got to talk to a couple of drivers at an air show here at Dover Air Force Base and they described some of the maneuvers they practice, it sounds like a carnival ride and when they fire the gun they said the whole plane rattles and shakes. They said its like its going to shake apart, that has to be a cool job, the funny thing is they looked like 15 year old kids.
