I don't know how much it will lift, but Mark tells me that it has no problem carrying the line across 1500' and you saw how fast the spool was spinning.
I'm sure it will be within a couple of weeks when I start ordering parts for the new build and I will do another thread on it.

Here are some more videos plus with the Pac Man. (The bigger drone that failed) From what I'm told Pac Man has FODed 5 times and he scrapped it because it would cost them around $3000. in props every time it did it.

Here is Hextor at a job site. Pulled line over 1,700' and Mark said it could pull twice that far!

That is just plain badass :showing-ass:

So he was flying LOS, correct? Anyone given any thought to FPV with a a spotter?

How could the pilot even see where he was going? Does he just get to a certain area and then release the line or does he land it?

He is flying it LOS and FPV. It has 3 Go Pros on it. When he spots his target then he hovers above it then drops the line. Then he puts it in RTH and it comes back by itself. It has the DJI A3 in it so it can go to waypoints also.

Here is a view of Hextor dropping the line from the other end. This was done last week end and that pull was 3,500'.
(They have Tim Kline as the pilot and builder of Hextor, but Mark will change that to Tim Kline pilot and Mark Deutschman builder)
